The New American: Introduction to A321T

As a member of WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council), Cadence is pleased to see that the New American Airlines has voted in favor of keeping the new tail design that was debuted last January, as it was created by two women-owned businesses. You can expect to see the livery on the new A321 Transcon aircraft, which debuted yesterday, January 7th, 2014 on America’s most important route.

American is the only airline to offer three classes of services for transcontinental flights between Los Angeles / San Francisco and JFK in New York. In the airline’s investment toward modernization, you can expect to see a variety of comfort options, WiFi, entertainment and dining features in all cabins, and other specialties.

A “true” First Class cabin on the new A321T features 10 fully lie-flat seats, all-aisle access with 1-1 configuration, and entrée reservations prior to flight in addition to standard amenities.

The Business Class cabin is outfitted with 20 fully lie-flat seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration. Each seat is equipped with one universal AC power outlet and USB jack. Enjoy free ear buds for your complimentary inflight entertainment- movies, TV, audio and games.

The 36 Main Cabinet Extra seats feature a 36-inch pitch, meaning six inches of additional legroom, and early boarding privileges. All main cabin seating is equipped with a universal AC power outlet and USB jack. In-seat entertainment is complimentary until March 31, 2014!

Bonus: Between January 7th and March 31, 2014, you can earn up to 15,000 miles for round-trip between LAX and JFK during American’s bonus mile promotion! (Ask a Cadence Business Travel Specialist for more information.)

The specific flight schedules for the new aircraft are as follows:

  • Flight AA118 LAXJFK departs at 7:00am, arrives at 3:30pm
  • Flight AA10 LAXJFK departs at 9:15pm, arrives next day at 5:30am
